Rieber has long been regarded as one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of mobile and bulk catering equipment to the public sector.
One of the main factors that has led to this position, is the importance BGL Rieber puts on building an experienced and knowledgeable team, who are there, not to sell, but to find solutions for customers.
To further build on this, BGL Rieber has appointed Gary Nicholl as Regional Sales Manager covering Scotland and Northern Ireland. Based in Kilmarnock, he brings over 30 years’ experience and a wealth of equipment knowledge from his career with Hobart.
Gary is a keen supporter of the public sector and is actively involved in the West of Scotland Hospital Caterers Association and the Scottish NACC.
“I wanted to get back to working in a more hands-on and customer-facing sales role after succeeding with a brand leader for 33 years, working predominantly in the Public Sector,” says Gary.
“BGL Rieber is the market leader in food transportation. I like delivering tailored quality solutions, and I am excited to be a valued member of a great team highly regarded by the public sector for its bulk and plated meal delivery systems, bulk cooking solutions, and Gastronorm systems.”
Ian Smith, part of BGL’s public sector team, covering the North of England, comments, “BGL Rieber is long established in the UK and highly regarded for its professional advice. The high quality of our equipment and the personal support we can offer really sets us apart. We have something for everyone, including end-to-end systems that help our customers provide their services reliably and consistently.
“I’m excited to welcome Gary to the team. He brings a huge amount of experience that can only benefit our customers, old and new.”
Jon Walker, Joint MD, BGL Rieber, says, “Our new appointment highlights a period of continued growth for BGL Rieber. The strong industry backgrounds, expertise and enthusiasm of both Gary and Ian and their focus on providing complete solutions, can only help our public sector customers get the right tools for the job.”
